Course Description
As the saying goes, it's not what you say, it is how you say it. Module 2 of the Leadership Fundamentals series is an introduction to how different communication styles impact your performance. You will learn about different types and styles of communication and participate in a couple of communication exercises. In addition to thinking about communication as the speaker, you will want to pay attention to your listening skills.


Learning Outcomes
By the conclusion of this course, you should be able to:

  • Identify four different communication styles, and apply them to a case study situation.
  • Identify different listening styles.
  • Identify best practices for active listening and effective question-asking.
