Course Description 
Receiving developmental feedback is a foundation for career growth yet numerous studies show that the feedback women and minorities receive isn’t specific or actionable. Your ability to ask for the feedback you need can make a large difference in achieving your career goals. This course explores best practices for managers and individual contributors to ask for, give, and receive feedback.

Speaker
Dina Venezky, PhD, is the founder of Sparkling Leaders, an inquiry-based learning company that offers development and networking opportunities for curious professionals. Education and STEM, in particular, have been passions throughout Dina’s life and she has more than 20 years of advocating for and communicating technical and business concepts in startups, government, and academia. Prior to founding Sparkling Leaders, Dina ran nondegree programs at Smith College and grew online custom programs, marketing, and analytics for Stanford GSB Executive Education. Previously, she ran the USGS Volcano Hazards website and was a volcano observatory public information officer. Her corporate experience includes data analytics consulting, marketing, and building a digital printing company. Dina received her AB in Geology from Smith College and her PhD in Geological Sciences (volcanology) from Brown University.

This course offers 0.10 CEUs / 1.0 PDH. To receive CEU/PDH, the course must be viewed in its entirety in addition to completing the knowledge check with an 80%.
