Course Description 
Many healthy SWE collegiate sections and affiliates have both a SWE faculty advisor and a SWE counselor. This course walks faculty advisors and counselors through requirements to become a faculty advisor or counselor, roles and responsibilities of both positions, effective communication timelines, and resources to help both roles succeed.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you should be able to:

• Identify need-to-know information for new faculty advisors and counselors.
• Describe the roles and responsibilities of a new faculty advisors and counselors.
• Identify and locate resources available to faculty advisors and counselors.
