Additive manufacturing (AM) can deliver exceptional benefits, but execution is not simple or easy. AM is similar to traditional methods, yet very different and it is constantly changing. This web session discusses the shift in mindset needed for projects to succeed and the importance of building teams to take on this expedition. It will also discuss the value of building a special team, a tiger team, to make process selection, implementation and applications a success.

By the end of this session, you should be able to:

  1. Navigate the pitfalls of old-thinking that can derail an AM initiative.
  2. Identify appropriate personnel for key roles in the AM journey and build a strong team.
  3. Rationalize the creation of a specialized, focused team to support AM work.

Join us for this live web session on Thursday, August 22, 2019 @ 2-2:45 PM CT.

This session is presented as part of the Innovations in Additive Manufacturing web series.
