The COVID-19 pandemic has been one of the biggest catalysts for change many of us will experience in our lifetimes. Around the world, individuals, families, communities, organizations and governments have found innovative ways to overcome the challenges they have faced. In this talk, you’ll hear how AstraZeneca responded to the global pandemic, including some great insights from two leaders who were very much at the heart of the company’s efforts to deliver a vaccine made for the world.

Speakers
Angie Pettinger is responsible for the Facilities and Engineering department and the direction of ~60 full time professionals as well as many other contract workers at AstraZeneca’s supply site in West Chester, Ohio, US. This includes accountability for facilities, utilities, automation, validation, metrology, capital projects and maintenance and reliability of assets for the site.


Shamus Whyte is responsible for the leadership and direction of the professionals at AstraZeneca’s supply site in Delaware, US. This includes Accountability for all aspects of manufacture & supply of products to global Markets supporting more than $6billion of sales.
