Learning to Love Criticism and Navigate Feedback

No Ratings

Course Description
If you are really honest with yourself, are you avoiding some important leaps forward in your work because you are worried about the criticism that might come? Or do you notice yourself feeling beholden to praise – whether rave reviews from clients or gold stars from a boss? When women are crushed by criticism or dependent on praise, it is almost impossible for them to innovate. In this course, leadership expert Tara Mohr will share insightful strategies to navigate difficult criticism and to embrace situations that might bring negative feedback, so women can play bigger.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, you should be able to:
  • Recognize personal instances where attachment to praise and avoidance of criticism may be keeping them from voicing your ideas or pursuing the work they want to do.
  • Apply a practical tool to strategically incorporate feedback (even criticism!) – but not go on an emotional roller coaster with it.
