Additive manufacturing (AM) is dynamic and ever-changing. Announcements of new technologies and improved solutions seem to occur on a weekly basis. Join us for a 30-minute webinar to receive a snapshot of existing AM technologies and newly announced AM solutions, coupled with highlights to offer guidance on what to consider as you evaluate AM for new, or existing, applications.

  • Identify which technologies are commercial (can be purchased) and which solutions have merely been announced (cannot be purchased).
  • Discuss the true breadth of AM technologies, materials and processes.
  • Identify technologies that can assist in AM projects that are being evaluated/considered.

Todd Grimm is 27-year veteran of the additive manufacturing/3D printing industry. From his work as a consultant, writer, author, speaker, editor and advisor, he was named as one of The TCT Magazine’s 20 most influential in the additive manufacturing (AM) industry. Todd is president of T. A. Grimm & Associates, an additive manufacturing consulting and communications company. He sits on the board of directors of ARC Group Worldwide (NASDAQ: ARCW). He is also a columnist for The TCT Magazine and 3D Metal Printing and author of User’s Guide to Rapid Prototyping. Todd currently serves on the board of the Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) as its AM industry advisor, sits on the TCT Expert Advisory Board, and is an advisor for the RAPID conference. He has also served as chairman of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers’ (SME) RTAM community.
