Course Description 
This course is an overview of the call for participation (CFP) guidelines used to submit an proposal for the 2023 WE Local conferences. We will define requirements and provide best practices in answering each section of the CFP to improve your chances of having your proposal selected. The CFP guidelines are available to download within the first lesson of this course and on welocal.swe.org/speak-at-we-local .

• Recognize your speaking responsibilities.
• Identify where to submit your proposal and available resources.
• Recognize general best practices for submitting a proposal.
• Identify how each proposal submission is scored.
