Course Description
While change and innovation within industry is an inherent good, it requires industry professionals to consistently upskill. Sonia Hingorany, senior manager of global infrastructure expansions at Amazon Web Services (AWS) will talk about her personal journey from Engineer to MBA to where she is now, and how she uses both those skills in her ever-changing industry. She'll discuss the benefits of being a lifelong learner, and how to stay up-to-date with constantly changing industries and emerging technologies.

Speakers
Sonia Hingorany is a Senior Manager of infrastructure global expansion at Amazon Web Services. She earned her MBA from Carnegie Mellon University in 2015, pursuing concentrations in information systems and operations management.

Before earning her graduate degree and joining Amazon, Sonia worked at Accenture for five years as a technology consultant, specializing in systems integration and technical architecture initiatives for various financial services clients around the world. She earned her BS in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Cognitive Science from UCLA in 2008. Sonia also serves as an Executive Committee member for the Society of Women Engineers, Pacific Northwest section where she focuses on mentorship and professional development initiatives for members.
