The interactive modules in this course are designed to provide the learner with the necessary human resource skills to:
  • Identify and interview good candidates, and make smart recruiting decisions that follow the law.
  • Learn when and why employers should conduct investigations and how to plan and conduct an effective investigation. 
  • Equip managers with the tools they need to terminate employees with compassion and respect.
Supplemental modules touch on the following areas:
  • HIPAA Basics
  • Background checks for hiring
  • Resolving and preventing substance abuse issues with non-confrontational intervention strategies
  • Injury & illness, as well as workplace violence prevention
