Course Description
Engineers are often required to communicate their technical ideas to those who don't have the same background. To be able to communicate technical ideas effectively helps lend credibility to engineers’ work and ensures that the work of engineers can more effectively contribute to change at research, academia, industry, and policy levels. This session aims to discuss the theoretical principles behind developing effective presentation skills and prepare engineers with practical tools to make presentations that are more understandable and engaging. Please note that both the pre-event and post-event surveys must be completed in order to earn CEU/PDH credits for the course.
Immediately following the web event, join us for an exclusive post-event workshop with Melissa Marshall. During this one-hour workshop, Melissa will provide further guidance and insights to help you refine your presentation skills. Paid registration for the post-event workshop is limited to the first 50 who register. Once you register for the live web event, you'll receive information for the post-event workshop.
