Most professionals understand that networking is important but are never taught the tools to do it effectively and in an authentic manner. Yet networking is critical to be effective in the workplace. After all, it's not always what you know or who you know… but rather who knows you. Rachel B. Simon, author of, Relationships at Work: How to Authentically Network within Your Company, will share her proven approach to demystifying the art of networking. Participants will walk away with simple, actionable, yet often overlooked tips to organically build relationships across departments, company silos, and chains of command. They'll also be provided with insightful tips for large in-person networking events that will help introverts and extroverts alike thrive!

    Rachel B. Simon (she/her/hers) is an executive at AT&T, one of the world’s largest companies and most recognizable brands. She began her remarkable career as a college hire from the University of Texas and has served in key roles in Privacy, Finance and Customer Care for almost three decades. As a popular speaker, she brings to life the importance of meaningful relationships and the power of internal networking for increased job and personal satisfaction. A consistent theme of her career has been mentoring, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion and she has helped countless others expand their limiting beliefs around fulfillment, balance, and success in the workplace. Her first book, Relationships at Work: How to Authentically Network within Your Company will be released on September 12, 2023. She lives in Dallas with her husband, Jason, and is the proud mom to her two children Abigail and Ethan.
